Pastor Dar’s Top 5 Strengths include: Evangelism, Positivity, Adaptability, Vision and Preaching & Teaching. She is a shepherd with intergenerational ministry as a priority.
Her personal vision is to identify and develop empowered kingdom leaders. She is passionate about seeing people know Christ intimately and grow in him to live out God’s Kingdom call in their lives. Pastor Dar is compelled by the Great Commission: to make disciples in the nations, baptize and teach others to obey everything God has commanded knowing that HE WILL BE WITH US UNTIL THE END OF THE AGE!
Beyond Pastor Dar’s extensive leadership experience and spiritual gifting, her three years here with us as our Children & Family Discipleship Pastor give her valuable insights to the community of Oroville. She has spent the last three years building deep and meaningful relationships, not only with children and families, but also in adult small group discipleship classes and out in the community where she has chosen to push in and share our lives and the love of Jesus with everyone she meets.
She and her husband, Barry, have been married and enjoying life together in Northern California for 27 years. Their family includes two adult sons, Ben and Christian. Barry and Dar value spending time with their friends and family, including Ben’s wife Amanda and their two kids Emmalee (7) and Henry (6), as well as visiting Christian and his wife Hannah in Southern California.

PRAY THROUGH THE PROCESS
Please join us in prayer every day as we journey together through the process of transitioning to a new Lead Pastor. Group prayer opportunities include Sunday mornings at 8am in the Prayer Room and Wednesdays at noon via Zoom (oronaz.org/prayer). Please also pray every day from wherever you are, whenever you can to cover this process with the power of the Holy Spirit.
PRAYER FOCUS
1. Peace & freedom from fear for OroNaz during this transition time.
2. Spiritual protection over our minds & hearts to be in unity as a church.
3. For Travis & Kim as they wrap up their time & accomplish tasks in Oroville before they move on.
UNDERSTAND THE PROCESS

(CLT & DS meetings held on 12/12 & 1/9)
4.*Pastoral Profile — “Preferences”*
(CLT & DS meeting held on 1/9)
5.* Identify Potential Candidates*
